Become a Helper

Helpers keep BubbleSnaps SMP friendly and welcoming. It's the first step toward joining the staff team.

What Helpers do

Helpers are players first. They're not go-fers, item dispensers or a delivery service.

  1. Watch chat

    Keep an eye on chat, welcome new players and answer quick questions about the worlds, commands, ranks and rules.

  2. Escalate to a Mod

    If something's wrong (griefing, duping, cheating, unkind chat), pass it on to a Mod with the details. Helpers don't handle /helpme tickets, catch or jail troublemakers, or run the server; that's the job of Mods and up.

  3. Set a good example

    Be kind, patient and fair in chat and in game. New players will look to you for how things are done here. A Helper is the player you'd be happy to have your grandmother play Minecraft with.

Good to know

Helpers don't get building powers, items or other in-game advantages; it's a people role, not a perk. To apply you should be:

  • at least 18 years old (most of our players are adults)
  • an active player who's on regularly
  • in good standing, with no recent rule problems
